George Charamba Clarifies On Picture Of Mnangagwa “Performing Rituals”

Presidential spokesperson George Charamba clarified that a picture of President Mnangagwa seemingly performing rituals was taken during his visit to a  museum of human history in Kazakhstan.

The picture was went viral on social media after it was posted on Twitter by former G40 kingpin, Jonathan Moyo. However, Deputy Minister for Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Energy Mutodi claimed that the picture was photoshopped. Charamba said there were attempts to paint Mnangagwa as an evil character. Said Charamba:

All this is coming against the background of what we have seen as a concerted attack on the President in his personal capacity as well as the institution of Government. We are back to the days of black propaganda where falsehoods are peddled as news and fact but also an attempt to paint the President as an evil character. We saw how a picture of the President’s visit to a museum of human history in Kazakhstan was turned around to suggest that he was dabbling in voodooism. That’s typical black propaganda.

  1. Is it embarrassing to perform ritual? Isn’t he an African man? Nothing wrong with that unless some Africans made a life time with the Europeans that never again they perform rituals (Africanly not satanic).
