The Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum said it has received credible information that ZANU PF has established torture bases across Zimbabwe.
In an update on the situation in Zimbabwe following violent protests last week, Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum said the torture bases were being established to deal with people sabotaging President Mnangagwa and to prepare for future protests. Said Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum:

The Forum has received credible reports of ZANU PF torture bases emerging across the country. In Mutoko, ZANU PF militia noted that they were establishing the infrastructure of violence in order to deal with ‘people sabotaging ED’ and to prepare for future protests.
The Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum also noted the continuation of army raids in high density suburbs and the continued crackdown on residents by the police and military.
