Mnangagwa Ally, Mayor Wadyajena Calls Out The Herald For 'Ignoring' President's Homecoming

Outspoken backer of ZANU PF First Secretary President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Justice Mayor Wadyajena condemned State publication, The Herald, for what he considers a snub of his principal. Writing on microblogging site Twitter, Wadyajena said:

His Excellency, President @edmnangagwa’s return only makes Page 2? Something cooking over at @HeraldZimbabwe. It’ll all end with a lot of egg on some faces! What’s going on Cdes @nickmangwana @energymutodi and where are you Editor at Large @caesarzvayi?

Wadyajena sensationally claimed recently that he was threatened with death for standing behind Mnangagwa. He revealed this on Twitter when he wrote:

They threatened to kill me & harm my family. I stand by @edmnangagwa & wish they knew ours isn’t just a political relationship. However they try, we’ll NEVER QUIT nor be intimidated. The plot is foiled, they lack numbers for impeachment &the devil isn’t @ProfJNMoyo but amongst us!

There have been rumours over the past few days that some disaffected senior members of the ruling ZANU PF party were mulling plans to impeach Mnangagwa. The plan was however shelved after the conspirators realised that they did not have sufficient numbers in Parliament for the plan to succeed.
