……its all very well to look at other people’s issues and make mileage ….SA has a make or break election …..with all the racist conduct and major disparities in income and social status to say nothing of the land issues which still have to be dealt with. Zimbabwe has transitional problems and these will come to pass albeit with human and material costs….Journalists should not “celebrate” or gloat over human suffering but should help point towards how tolerance can be nurtured….!
Bhora mberi, we are in a transitional phase and anything is possible. More South Africans died during their transitional phase. Who forgets Mongosuthu Buthelezi and his Inkatha freedom party causing violence and mayhem in 1994?
