600 People Arrested For ShutdownZimbabwe Riots

Minister of State for National Security Owen Ncube has said that 600 people were arrested in connection with the violent protests that started on Monday 14 January 2019.  A report in the government controlled daily publication, The Herald, says that 214 have already appeared in court.

The report also says that more than 30 vehicles were burnt during the riots. On the number of people that died, it says 3 lots their lives, one of them being a police officer.
