FULL TEXT: ZIMRA Statement On Reports That Its Workers Are On Strike

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has denied that its employees are on strike today. Reports earlier indicated that ZIMRA workers could not report for duty due to incapacitation. Below is the full statement;

PUBLIC NOTICE ON SOCIAL AND DIGITAL MEDIA CLAIMS THAT ZIMRA EMPLOYEES ARE ON STRIKE

Contrary to reports that are circulating on some social and digital media platforms, ZIMRA remains open for business as a provider of essential public services. Management is currently engaging its worker representatives to find ways to mitigate the challenges of the current economic situation to staff.
