Mugabe Better Than Mnangagwa? - The Standard Editor

The Standard Editor insinuates that former President Robert Mugabe was better than his successor, President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

According to the columnist, several things have changed for the worse since Mugabe was forced out of power through a military coup in November 2017. These include among others:

1. The prices of goods and services have gone up several times.

2. The introduction of the 2% tax of electronic transactions by Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube has been a burden on the transacting public.

3. The stipulation that import duty for cars should be paid in foreign currency, “If you have the currency to import, then you must have the currency for paying the duty”.
