State owned media reports that First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa met striking junior doctors at State House on Friday morning. The doctors agreed to call off their month long industrial action while their grievances were looked into.
Briefing journalists after a two hour meeting, the First Lady said she had agreed to take up their grievances to relevant authorities so that they could address those that could immediately implemented. Below is a video of Dr Elias Muzoremba speaking after meeting the First Lady:
