SB Moyo Returns To Work Following Two Operations

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Sibusiso Moyo was present as UK and Northern Ireland Ambassador to Zimbabwe Ms Melanie Robinson presented her credentials to President Mnangagwa on Thursday afternoon.

Speaking to The Herald in October last year, Deputy Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet (Presidential Communications) who is also the Presidential spokesperson, George Charamba said Moyo had two operations at a local hospital to remove some growth in the stomach. At the time Charamba said Moyo only travelled to South Africa in October for a review. Said Charamba:

I also want to correct the impression that was in the market that Lt General SB Moyo was in South Africa. In fact, he was treated at a local hospital and only travelled to South Africa today (yesterday) for a review. He is expected back in a day’s time. It is understood that he had two operations meant to remove some growth in the stomach.
