The death toll in an accident involving two commuter buses along the Harare-Nyamapanda highway has risen to 14.
The head-on collision occurred 49 km from Harare along the highway to Mozambique. 12 people died on the spot while two others died later in hospital. Police said an infant and two older children were among the deceased. ZBC reports that at least 12 people are in critical condition while 17 other survivors are in stable condition.
