Zanu-PF Approves Mnangagwa As Sole Presidential Candidate, Structures Ordered To Start Preparations For 2023 Elections

Reading the consolidated resolutions at the end of Zanu-PF conference, Politburo member, Advocate Jacob Mudenda said the party had approved President Mnangagwa as 2023 presidential candidate.

He said all structures will start preparations for the 2023 elections immediately. Said Mudenda:

All wings reaffirm that the President and First Secretary of the party, Cde Mnangagwa be the sole candidate for the 2023 harmonised elections. All structures will start preparations for the 2023 harmonised elections immediately.
