VP Mohadi Fails To Attend ZANU PF Conference Due To Illness
Vice President Kembo Mohadi and his wife were absent at the official opening of the ZANU PF Annual People’s Conference on Friday due to poor health.
V P Mohadi has been in and out of hospital ever since the Bulawayo explosion at White City Stadium earlier this year. Reports at the time had indicated that his leg was injured in the suspected grenade attack and was subsequently airlifted to South Africa for treatment.
The Chairperson for Zanu-PF Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri had initially claimed that Mohadi was away on assignment, but President Emmerson Mnangagwa said that the Vice President was actually sick. Said Mnangagwa,
