Zanu-PF Midlands Endorses Mnangagwa As 2023 Presidential Candidate

Zanu-PF Midlands Provincial chairperson Engineer Daniel McKenzie Ncube said they have resolved to endorse President Mnangagwa as the party’s sole candidate for 2023 presidential elections.

He said this during a Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting held on Sunday at the Zanu-PF Convention Centre in Gweru. Said Ncube:

As a province we have resolved to endorse President Mnangagwa as the party’s candidate for 2023. The main wing, Women’s League and the Youth League in the province have also endorsed President Mnangagwa. We moved a motion during our Provincial Executive meeting. We have also prepared our provincial report that will be presented to the First Secretary.

He also said they want an independent electoral board to preside over Zanu-PF elections to ensure transparency and credibility.
