FC Platinum Overcome CNaPS 2-1 On Aggregate In CAF Champions League To Go Through To Next Round

Castle Lager Primer Soccer League side FC Platinum subdued Madagascar club CNaPS in A Total Caf Champions League preliminary round second leg match yesterday. The match was played at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane. FC Platinum drew 1-1 in the first leg match played in Madagascar about a fortnight ago.

FC Platinum are therefore through to the next stage after winning yesterday’s match 1-0. The solitary goal was scored by Rodney Chinyengetere in the 60th minute. The Zvishavane-based club goes to the next stage with a 2-12 aggregate win.

Speaking after the match, FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza had this to say

It was a tough encounter where both sides wanted it but I am happy we got it and look forward to future good outings as we try to make our name on the international scene. We await our next opponents which obviously won’t be easy for us.
