ZCTU Wants To Be Part Of Negotiations Between Chamisa And Mnangagwa

Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) secretary general Japhet Moyo told NewZimbabwe.com that they are in support of calls for a negotiated settlement between Nelson Chamisa and President Mnangagwa.

Moyo however said workers should be part of the negotiations. Said Moyo:

We are behind any such efforts as we realise that as a nation, we are not going anywhere economically. We need to find each other and work together to bring the mess which is affecting workers to a halt. It is time politicians understood that ED (Mnangagwa) and Chamisa are not the only boys in town. As such, the talks must be broadly inclusive and also afford as workers, our seat in the negotiating proceedings including other key stakeholders who represent the society.

  1. Let the process if ever it succeeds have also influential international and locals stakeholders of substance to democracy, development and transformation….not only ZCTU but all players to retain credibility.
