The South Africa Police Service on Thursday busted a criminal syndicate towing a vehicle bound for Zimbabwe in the middle of the Limpopo river. The operation which was carried out by SAPS in collaboration with the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) intercepted a BMW X3 en route to Zimbabwe. The stolen vehicle was then towed back to South Africa. SAPS’ Lieutenant-Colonel Moasthe Ngoepe said
The suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled to the other side of the river. The vehicle was then retrieved and towed back to South Africa
