Chamisa Tells Mnangagwa, Chiwenga That He’s Not The Enemy

MDC president Nelson Chamisa has told President Emmerson  Mnangagwa and his Deputy Constantino Chiwenga not to waste their energy denigrating him in public. Rather, they should focus on arresting the economic slide which is the real enemy of the people. This comes after Mnangagwa and Chiwenga lampooned Chamisa at a ZANU PF rally held at Murombedzi Growth point on Saturday.

The two took turns to verbally attack Chamisa with Chiwenga going as far as saying that Chamisa will never rule Zimbabwe and that he’s a false prophet and little bishop. In an interview with Newsday, Chamisa had this to say

Chamisa is not the enemy, I am not the economy, I am not corruption, I am not bad leadership and bad governance, so the focus cannot be on an individual, but the focus has to be the collective challenges Zimbabweans are facing and that we must understand.

The centre and focus of attack is poverty, price increases, shortage of basic commodities and other challenges facing Zimbabwe. Those kinds of problems are the ones that must be attacked. They must not really waste their energy on a patriot and a Democrat who is trying to make lives better for the ordinary people, including even for them.

A country, a nation is not built by insults and hatred. A nation is built by love and magnanimity. Instead of my old man Mnangagwa and my uncle Chiwenga being driven by so much anger, they seem to be so angry. They must be driven by love for their country and the love for their people.

  1. Now thats my President, well said CCC, avo vasiyei vakadaro machembere ana mnangwangwa, havana basa isu takatarisa hedu tichiona kwavarikuendesa nyika

  2. These exchanges will at most only serve to frustrate the Zimbabweans and internationals …..integrity, statesmanship, maturity, cooperation and diplomatic dialogue for transformation of a bleeding Zimbabwe brings at least some bit of sanity and hope to the domestic and probably foreign landscapes.

  3. Chamisa you think demonstrations you want to stage on the 29th of November will address all those issues you say Mnangagwa and Chiwenga should target their anger on? You are the true enemy of this nation as well if you think prioritising demonstrations will address the problems this nation is facing. Nothing will come out of those silly and useless demonstrations. Tsvangirai tried all that including STAY AWAYS but NOTHING CAME OUT OF THAT
