Warriors Arrive In Liberia For 2019 AFCON Qualifier

The Warriors touched down in Liberia late yesterday afternoon for the penultimate Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier. The Warriors face the Lone Star at the Samuel Kenyon Doe Sports at 4 pm (6 pm Zimbabwean time). The European-based Warriors contingent is expected to arrive in Liberia today. ZIFA communications and competitions spokesperson manager Xolisani Gwesela commended the Liberians for the manner in which they were received. He said

We were received well by the Liberian Football Association and they are very hospitable. The weather is hot and humid, the Warriors start training tomorrow (today) and get to acclimatise. I have noticed that this game is the talk of the town. It promises to be an interesting match.
