Harare City Council To Close Pomona Road Today For Construction Of Stormwater Drain

Harare City Council (HCC) will today close Campbell Road in Pomona. This will be done to enable the construction of a stormwater drain. The Council is encouraging motorists to take caution by using alternative routes recommended by provided informative signs on the road. The construction of the drainage is being done to minimise clogging and flooding of water in the area during rainstorms. A notice by HCC reads

There will be a temporary road closure of Campbell road, Pomona food court between 05.00am and 1700pm from Friday 16 November to Sunday 18 November 2018. The road closure is to enable Masimba Construction to construct a stormwater drain from CBZ Datvet.
