Chamisa Says Motlanthe Commission Should Invite Mnangagwa, Chiwenga To Give Testimony

MDC president Nelson Chamisa said that the Motlanthe Commission should invite President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Vice Presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi. He said this after Chairperson of the Commission, former South African President Kgalema Motlanthe, sent him a letter inviting him to appear before the Commission on Wednesday next week.  Chamisa reportedly said

Those names that have been named whether by mistake, malice or anything, in as much as we doubt and question the credibility of the commission, we still think that if they are to be fair then what is good for the goose must be good for the gaunter.

They must be able to invite Mr. Mnangagwa, they must invite Mr. Chiwenga and they must invite Mr. Kembo Mohadi. That is why we have said there is folly in that commission because you cannot be inviting Mr. Mnangagwa so that you report to him, he can’t investigate himself because he has been implicated.
