MPs' Allowances To Be Cut To Reduce Public Wage Bill

Siting allowances of Members of Parliament are set to be slashed in an attempt to reduce the public wage bill. The MPs’ $75 per sitting pay will be cut. However, their salaries will not be affected. MPs will also get Parliament-issued vehicles. Of late,  MPs have been demanding that the government should consider their needs and if necessary, buy vehicles locally for them.
