Govt Invites Tenders For Debt-ridden Air Zimbabwe

The government is inviting tenders from interested investors towards the revival of Air Zimbabwe. The government has plans to restructure 41 of its companies which have been reeling under massive debt. Air Zimbabwe owes creditors $341 million and was last month put under administration. Air Zimbabwe administrator Reggie Sruchera of Grant Thornton said

Tenders are, hereby, invited from interested parties to invest in Air Zimbabwe. Parties interested in investing in the group are required to register their interest with Air Zimbabwe Administrator at Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants… This invitation is not a prospectus and does not constitute or form part of any solicitation or invitation or any offer to the public to purchase the company or to subscribe to any ordinary shares or any other shares in Air Zimbabwe.
