Triangle United Wins Chibuku Super Cup

Triangle United beat Harare City 2-0 to lift the 2018 Chibuku Super Cup for the first time in their history at Gibbo Stadium on Saturday. This is Taurai Mangwiro’s second medal in the competition following the 2015 triumph with Harare City.

The teams went to halftime 0-0 with Harare City getting most of the chances. In the second half Triangle United captain Ralph Kawondera who was not marked, headed in Russel Madamombe’s cross to score the first goal. Harare City conceded another goal on the stroke of full-time when Bamusi made a great run, out-pacing his markers before scoring.
