Marginal Rise In The Cost Of Living: CCZ

The Consumer Council of Zimbabwe (CCZ) has revealed that the cost of living increased by 10,3 percent in October. The rise is attributed to the cash shortages, price increases and high for basic goods. Most of the prices of basic goods rose in the months of September and October. The survey was carried out based on a low-income earner for. a family of six. A report by the CCZ says

The cost of living as measured by the CCZ low-income urban earner monthly basket for a family of six increased from the end of September 2018 figure of $604,54 to $666,93 by end of October 2018, showing an increase of $62,39.
