Tinashe Kambarami Reelected Bulawayo Deputy Mayor Unopposed

Tinashe Kambarami has won the Deputy Mayor position in the party uncontested.

This comes after Bulawayo Deputy Mayor Councillor Tinashe Kambarami resigned from the post after being ordered to do so by the MDC Alliance. Kambarami’s appointment had been marred by controversy as his party insisted that proper procedure was not followed. He had been holding the post for two months after beating ward 1 councillor Mlandu Ndlovu who had been the party’s preferred choice for the post. MDCA Bulawayo provincial chairperson.
