I Was Given $40 000 To Smear RBZ Officials: Acie Lumumba

Former ZANU PF youth league official, Willian Gerald Mutumanje, also known as Acie Lumumba has revealed the reason why he attacked Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ), directors. Lumumba made claims that he was paid $40 000 in order to pull the RBZ officials through the mud. He made the accusations against the quartet during his short-lived stint as head of a communications taskforce in the finance ministry. Lumumba revealed that he needed the money to send his father to India to seek medical treatment. The four RBZ officials whom Lumumba made allegations against are Mirirai Chiremba, Norman Mataruka, Gresham Muradzikwa and Azvinandaa Saburi. The four officials have since been suspended by the RBZ.

  1. This boy is an unashamed mercenary!!! Why should we believe him now? May be its another stunt to defend the accused and he gets paid by them again! He should be arrested. He is too desperate for limelight. Thief!

  2. Looks like Lumumba was once in the ring of the quartet. Lumumba definitely knows something about the four suspended. And the four cannot deny anything now, because they know that they once dealt with Lumumba and that he knows the deal.
