Two Female Police Officers Kidnapped by Pirate Taxi Driver In Guruve

Two female police officers were abducted by a pirate taxi driver in Guruve on 11 October after they had arrested him. The driver, identified as Christopher Honye (37), was arrested while picking and dropping passengers at undesignated points. The Police Officers boarded the taxi and instructed him to drive to the police station to pay a fine. However, the accused drove 16km in an opposite direction and dumped the police officers. He was later arrested and arraigned before the court.
