Dynamos Chairman Confident of Staving off Relegation In Spite of Some Players' Indiscipline
The Dynamos Football Club Executive Chairman, Isaiah Mupfurutsa, has called for unity at the ailing Harare giants. Dynamos have been fighting relegation for much of the season and with three games to go, are not out of the woods yet. Recently, Dynamos suspended four players for ill-discipline and this has not gone down well with some sections of the fanbase. Mupfurutsa has defended the club’s stance on the quartet. Dembare picked some positive results in the past few league games and some fans felt that the suspension of the four players may halt the momentum the club had gathered in its bid to stave off relegation. Mupfurutsa had this to say
Yes, we are not yet completely safe, mathematically the next team likely to be relegated after the three that have gone already also has an outside chance of surviving if the other teams stumble.
But I can say for now we have high hopes and we feel that we are quite comfortable. Given the spirit and the self-belief that is now in the team, we have got high chances of collecting more points. I think we have confidence in the current technical team and in the energy that we are now seeing in our players.
