We Made An Error, Zuva Service Stations Were Not Closed Down For Overcharging - Ministry Of Information

The Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services has apologised for erroneously stating that three Zuva Petroleum Service Stations had their licences revoked due to overcharging of fuel. The Ministry tweeted this information on Tuesday night following a cabinet meeting although the tweet was later pulled down. The Ministry apologised for the error and said that it meant to say that three Glow Petroleum Service Stations had been closed down. In a tweet, the Ministry said

Yesterday we erroneously reported that three @zuva_petroleum fuel service stations had their licences cancelled for overcharging fuel. As a matter of fact, the licences that were cancelled were for three Glow Petroleum stations. We apologise to @zuva_petroleum for the error.
