Kirtsy Coventry Appointed Senegal Youth Olympic Games Coordination Committee Chairperson

Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation Kirsty Coventry has been appointed chairperson of the Senegal Youth Olympic Games coordination committee 2022  by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The fourth edition of the summer YOG 2022 will be held in Dakar, Senegal. This is the first time the games will be organised in Africa. Botswana, Nigeria, Senegal and Tunisia were some of the countries being considered but Senegal was chosen after thorough analysis.
