Zanu-PF Directs Govt To Ensure Prices Drop

Zanu-PF has directed Government to ensure prices return to those ruling at the time before the pronouncement of the fiscal and monetary policy measures.

In a statement to ZBC News, Zanu-PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Simon Khaya Moyo said the government should immediately enforce the law to eliminate all forms of informal money market activities. He also said Government should consider revoking Statutory Instrument 64 of 2016.

Khaya Moyo appealed to members of the public to stop panic buying and hoarding activities. Zanu-PF has also called on all fuel suppliers not to withhold fuel supply and ensure that all necessary measures are taken to stop the commodity from ending up on the black market.
