Former Minister of Information Communication Technology and Cyber Security Supa Mandiwanzira has been taken to court by Frank Humbe. Humbe is demanding $350 000 alleging that Manziwanzira forged documents and political power to seize control of the now-defunct Rainbow Airlines. According to Humbe, after he approached Mandiwnzira for investment into his project, the minister forged a new contract and changed the terms of the agreement. In his lawsuit, Humba said,
…When I raised my displeasure over the forged contract, Mandiwanzira, who was with his brothers Richard and Robson, and Muponda, came to me fuming, saying he would use his political muscle to grab the project…Mandiwanzira told me he would take me to the cleaners and was not going to change anything. He said even if I went to court I would never win the case.
Manziwanzira is yet to respond.
