Tambudzai Mohadi has approached the High Court to challenge the civil court, s verdict which granted a protection order in favour of her husband Vice President Kembo Mohadi.
Tambudzai dismissed the lower court’s verdict as vague and unreasonable.
She also stated that Mohadi was not in control of his mental faculties when he filed the restraining application against her.
In her summon Tambudzai Argues:
The proceedings before the first respondent (civil court provincial magistrate) were grossly irregular in that a protection order was granted, which deals with rights to immovable properties which are in excess of $300,000 each, an amount way in excess of the jurisdiction of the magistrate’s courts. The decision by the first respondent is grossly outrageous in its defiance of logic that no sensible person who has applied his mind to the question to be decided could have arrived at this
