Rotary Club of Matopos Donates To Ingutsheni Central Hospital

Patients at Ingutsheni Central Hospital received donations from Rotary Club of Matopos. Ingutsheni is a mental health institution established in 1907.
The Rotary club donated an assortment of goods to the mental institution. The goods included meal-mealie, sugar beans, toiletries, rice and cooking oil. Ingutsheni Central Hospital Clinical Director, Dr Wellington Ranga received the goods on behalf of the hospital. Dr Ranga highlighted the severe financial constraints affecting the hospital .Constraints which which make it difficult to provide the required dietary needs for mental health patients of a hospital that has a bedding capacity of 700 patients at any given time.
Rotary Club of Matopos President , Mrs Delight Majola Munenekwa said that citizens to must not discriminate and shun people suffering from mental health illness.

Said Munenekwa:

As community, there is need to stop discriminating people suffering from mental illness. This donation is gesture towards supporting the community as an organisation. After donating the goods, we planted fruit trees so that we mitigate climate change which causes drought
