Warriors Draw 1-1 With Congo

Zimbabwe drew 1-1 with Congo when they played in a 2019 AFCON Qualifier match played in Brazzaville on Sunday.

The Warriors remain undefeated in Group G and are now on four points while Congo are yet to win. Zimbabwe scored the first goal in the 22nd minute through Khama Billiat. Danny Phiri got a chance a minute later but failed to execute Musona’s layoff. Congo scored the equaliser in the 50th minute through Thievy Bifouma who capitalised on a defensive lapse by the Warriors back line.
