Speaking to 263Chat, Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) Head of Investigations Unit, Goodson Nguni blamed former President Robert Mugabe’s administration for preventing them from arresting or investigating some people.
He said President Mnangagwa’s administration is supportive because it has provided them with financial resources. Said Nguni:
The way we are being supported now is different from what was happening in the old era. Those that were in power before barred us from arresting or investigating some people who were deemed powerful. We were victimised and everyone could see that we were being victimised. However, that has changed now as this new dispensation has been supporting us. They have bought us computers, cars and they have provided a couple of millions of dollars for us to do our investigations and we have hired qualified auditors.

Who will guard the guard! When we show such lack of seriousness with corruption , is it no wonder why this vice is consuming this generation and many to come. Please remove this headmaster of corruption and look for a serious judge like Judge Sello Nare to head this commission. Nguni is nothing but a joke in this commission. I rest my case.
