Trudy Stevenson Funeral Service, Cremation Set For 7 September

Trudy Stevenson’s family has announced that a funeral service for the late Zimbabwe Ambassador to Senegal and The Gambia will be held on September 7 at the Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church in Mt Pleasant, Harare. Her remains will be cremated in a private ceremony afterwards.

Stevenson died on August 24 in Senegal, where she had been Zimbabwe’s ambassador since 2009. The former Harare South MP and senior member of the MDC party, died from acute pancreatitis, according to Foreign Affairs Secretary Joey Bimha.
