Douglas Mwonzora Suspension Letter Fake: MDC-T Officials

The Nelson Chamisa led MDC-T has dismissed a letter suspending the party’s secretary general Douglas Mwonzora for wanting to ouster Nelson Chamisa as fake.

When contacted for comment by ZimLive.com, Chamisa’s spokesperson Dr Nkululeko Sibanda said the letter is fake and must be disregarded as so. MDC-T Deputy treasurer Chalton Hwende also used word “fake” and added that Mwonzora’s suspension was not discussed during the party’s National Council held on Wednesday. Said Hwende:

No such discussion took place in National Council. In fact, we are encouraging ambition as we head towards congress.
