Ruvheneko To Issue Statement On Capitalk FM Exit
In a telephone interview with NewZimbabwe.com, radio personality Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa said she will issue a statement on her exit from Zimpapers’ Capitalk FM.
Reports suggest she was dismissed on the instigation of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga after her interview with National Patriotic Front’s Jealousy Mawarire last Wednesday. Ruvheneko implied that such reports are untrue when contacted by NewZimbabwe.com for a comment. Said Ruvheneko:
I will soon issue a statement on everything. Unlike all other online publications who are running with an inaccurate story, I am thankful that you are the first to actually call and verify the facts with me. I am humbled by your interest.
FeedbackA close associate told NewZimbabwe.com that Ruvheneko is leaving Zimpapers to pursue other opportunities. The source told NewZimbabwe.com that Ruvheneko was leaving on amicable termss and by mutual consent although the Mawarire interview accelerated the process.
