Zanu-PF Receives War Veterans’ Petition To Remove Mugabe’s Name From RGM International Airport

ZBC reports Zanu-PF has received the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) petition to remove former president Robert Mugabe name from Harare’s airport .

Party national chairperson, Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri said she is in support of the removal of Mugabe’s name saying the former president is now a sellout. Said Muchinguri:

It is so disturbing to hear that Mugabe, whom we worked with for over 30 years, is the one who is now going the opposite way. If i knew that that Mugabe is of such character, I was not going to join the war. He made the innocent souls to die for nothing.
