Ten people have reportedly died in Gweru since the start outbreak of typhoid in the city last week. 400 cases have been treated so far.
The city council officials did not confirm the deaths.
On the response to the out real, Town clerk, Elizabeth Gwatipedza, said:
Council has set up a treatment camp at Mkoba Council poly clinic where screening and treatment will be done for free. In order to decongest Midlands Private Hospital, council has made available for admission Mkoba 1 Clinic
