Addressing Zanu-PF candidates who excelled in the July 30 harmonised elections, President elect Emmerson Mnangagwa said the people behind the Bulawayo bombing that killed two people and left 47 with severe injuries in June are now known and will be dealt with soon after the current electoral processes are over.
Mnangagwa also gave an update on one of his deputies’ condition saying that he has not yet fully recovered. Said Mnangagwa:
We want to thank God intervened on what happened in Bulawayo. We now have the knowledge of who did it. We want the current (electoral) processes to pass then we will deal with that matter. But we want to thank God that he (VP Mohadi) is here with us today otherwise we could have died together in Bulawayo in that incident.
