The Nelson Chamisa led coalition MDC Alliance has challenged the electoral results for 20 constituencies at the Electoral Court. The MDC Alliance also said that it was still analysing the results for other constituencies. The MDC Alliance has rejected the results for the presidential election alleging that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) colluded with Zanu-PF to rig the elections. MDC Alliance chairperson Morgen Komichi said,

We have successfully filed with the Electoral Court to challenge results in 20 constituencies, and we are still compiling evidence in some others. President Chamisa had a meeting with all parliamentary candidates on Saturday. The meeting was to learn of the candidates’ experiences in the just-ended polls. The meeting also presented an opportunity for the candidates to bring forward some of the irregular practices they observed as part of our evidence building process. We have all the evidence and we will challenge many constituencies as well, apart from the presidential polls.

Challenging the electoral results is not an offense in our democratic country, but the legal route should be followed and the courts will pass the judgement. What the people of Zimbabwe don`t want is violent demonstrations which destroy property and cost human lives.

THERE ARE ABOUT 4 MILLION BLACKS/WHITES THAT FLED ZIMBABWE BECAUSE OF THE VIOLENT FEAR TACTICS OF UNCLE BOB. ALL THESE PEOPLE WOULD HAVE VOTED MDC IF THEY WERE ABLE.
I LEFT ZIMBABWE IN 1992 BUT I CANNOT VOTE BECAUSE I WAS FORCED TO GIVE UP MY ZIMBABWEAN CITIZENSHIP OR LOSE MY BRITISH CITIZENSHIP. I WAS BORN IN ZIMBABWE BUT CANNOT COME BACK. WHAT COUNTRY IN THE WORLD DENIES CITIZENSHIP TO SOMEONE BORN IN THAT COUNTRY?
