Khupe’s Spokesperson Linda Masarira Concedes Defeat In Parliamentary Election

The spokesperson for the breakaway MDC-T party led by Thokozani Khupe, Linda Masarira has conceded defeat in the contest for the Harare Central House of Assembly Seat. Masarira did not reveal who she lost to and the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) is yet to announce the official results.  Incumbent member of parliament for Harare South is Murisi Zwizwai of the MDC Alliance. Writing on Twitter, on Tuesday Masarira said,

Good morning. It has been a hectic journey to 2018 elections. I concede defeat with dignity in Harare Central Constituency. Like I said earlier its either I win or I learn. I have learnt a lot about political dynamics in Zimbabwe which I have fully documented.
