A female voter collapsed and died in Bulilima, Matabeleland South. Zimbabwe Electoral Commissioner (ZEC) chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba confirmed the incident.
She also conveyed her condolences to the woman’s family. Said Chigumba:
The Commission is saddened to learn of an unfortunate incident that occurred in Bulilima where a female voter collapsed and died at a polling station. Our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
