Mnangagwa Promises To Rebuild Matapi Flats In Mbare
President Mnangagwa visited residents in Mbare who lost their home in a fire incident on Monday and assured them that their flats will be rebuilt.
Mnangagwa passed through Matapi flats in Mbare to witness the damage on his way to Robert Mugabe International Airport where he departed for the BRICS Summit in South Africa. Writing on Twitter Mnangagwa said:
Today I was in Mbare to meet and listen to residents who tragically lost their homes to fire. I assured them that we will rebuild their flats and return them to their homes. As the new Zimbabwe rises, we will leave nobody behind.
FeedbackThe fire incident destroyed 14 housing units and left 65 individuals homeless.
