Zanu-PF Mbizo National Assembly member Vongaishe Mpereri last week handed over a new clinic and two ambulances he sourced for his constituency to the Ministry of Health and Child Care.
The clinic was refurbished at a cost of $80 000 from the Community Development Fund from Parliament. Mpereri approached Kwekwe City Council which agreed to turn an unused council bar into a clinic. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Minister of Health and Child Care Dr David Parirenyatwa who was the guest of honour commended Mpereri and applauded Kwekwe city council for prioritising health issues by donating the council bar.
