Zanu-PF National Chairperson Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri denied reports that she lost a body part as a result of the June 23 bombing incident at a Zanu-PF rally in Bulawayo.
She successfully underwent treatment in South Africa before coming back recently. In her vote of thanks at a rally held in Mutare on Friday, Muchinguri-Kashiri paid tribute to the ruling party and Government for sending her to South Africa for treatment. She said she is fit and urged Zanu-PF supporters to ignore reports she had lost a body part. Said Muchinguri-Kashiri:
My fellow party members, let me tell you that I am fit. I am fit and running around. Please ignore all statements that you have been getting from the independent media that I lost this or that part of my body, I am back in one piece.
