Opposition Parties Must Pull Out Of July 30 Elections Or Shut Up About Rigging When Mnangagwa Wins: ZCTU

The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) has advised all opposition parties to pull out of the July 30 harmonised elections saying that they will not be free or fair due to numerous irregularities. The labour union also warned the opposition parties that they should not complain about rigging if they disregard the advice. Said ZCTU president Peter Mutasa,

We must clearly express that there are irregularities in the conduct of the elections and that they can’t be free and fair. We must tell the opposition parties to pull out of the election. We need to engage and tell them our position and clearly explain the advantages of following us, if they don’t listen, then they should not complain immediately after Mnangagwa is announced the winner
