Man Attempts To Enter Mnangagwa’s Residence, Claims To Be His Biological Son

Brian Chitembeya, 31, was fined $20 by Harare Magistrate Josephine Sande after she found him guilty of disorderly conduct. Chitembeya attempted to enter President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s private residence without permission on Monday insisting that he wanted to meet with his biological father. He was arrested after he refused to leave.  Chitembeya told the court that he needed financial assistance from his alleged father.

In passing sentence Magistrate Sande said,

You don’t refuse the presidential security personnel orders, but you must use proper channels or to approach your elders to settle your matter.
